The exact details of how planting and breeding flowers is so far unknown, however, this is what we've seen so far:

New Mechanics:
- Flowers can have their flower part picked without actually picking the flower out of the ground. It appears to take a few days to regrow the flower (perhaps these are used to cross pollinate and get new seeds like in Pocket Camp)
- Flower seeds take a few days to grow, and don't instantly produce a flower like previous titles
